OUR VACATION 2000

In June early July of 2000 Ty myself Susie Rick and Lisa (our best friends from Yuma headed out on a 2 week trip back home to Nebraska here are some of the pictures.

Driving through Kansas heading for Taco Johns, You miss your turn off hiway 83, what do you do? If your Ty you stop in the middle of the Hiway and try to back up!! Then you get to talk to a nice Kansas Deputy.

Miles and miles of farms and farm land just like this each farm we drove by we know takes us closer to home.

Susie and Chi Chi didn't seem to mind the long ride. Time to catch up on some reading.

On the way to Omaha Nebraska we stopped at Cabalas in Kearney. We found this display with a Red Cyote. Doesn't it look like our Chi Chi!!

Arrived in Omaha picked up Josh and Danielle and ate at TGI Fridays. Had a great time, of course they set us by the Emergency Exit and we went through 4 waitresses. Go Figure!

One of the scariest things Ive seen a "Family Restroom" I may be old fashoned but there are some things that shouldn't be considered "family time"!

As long as I'm on a rant here is something else thats just wrong, look closely, Manikens aren't suppost to have NIPPLES!!!

They grow up so fast but a parent can always spot the little kid in them.

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Omaha nice rooms and as you can see an excellent Breakfast Bar

Back in Sutherland on the 4th of July gotta have a parade!

The Sutherland parade is always great. One of my favorite parts is the Classic Cars.

What would the 4th be without fireworks we were invited to the cabin at Lake Malony to shoot off fireworks by LeRoy and Carol

On the way home we saw some really big lizards along the side of the road

Going through Colorado on 25 we ran into a line of stopped traffic.

Emergency crews going by not a good sign

Sad I guess we know why traffic was stopped.

Never realized how importiant Life Flight was until you see it work.
